Nasonia (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) are small parasitoid wasps that sting and lay eggs in the pupae of various flys. The fly species that Nasonia usually parasitize are primarily blowflies and fleshflies, making Nasonia a useful tool for biocontrol of these pest flys.

There are currently three described species in the Nasonia genus, Nasonia vitripennis, Nasonia longicornis, and Nasonia giraulti. Nasonia vitripennis is found worldwide; Nasonia giraulti is found in eastern North America and Nasonia longicornis is found in western North America.
