Uraeginthus is a genus of bird in the Estrildidae family. It contains the following species:
- Blue-breasted Cordon-bleu, Uraeginthus angolensis
- Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu, Uraeginthus bengalus
- Blue-capped Cordon-bleu, Uraeginthus cyanocephalus
- Purple Grenadier, Uraeginthus ianthinogaster
- Common Grenadier, Uraeginthus granatinus also known as Violet-eared Waxbill
