Also known as the spectacled leaf monkey, dusky langurs are found in southern Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. They have large white coloured circles around their eyes and white-coloured patches of fur around their mouth.
They specialize in eating leaves and are capable of consuming 2kg of food every day. They have a specialized stomach that can breakdown cellulose, found in plant cell walls. |
