The brown goshawk (Accipiter fasciatus) is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. The brown goshawk is widespread through Australia, Wallacea, New Guinea, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Its upperparts are grey with a chestnut collar; its underparts are mainly rufous, finely barred with white.

The Christmas goshawk (Accipiter fasciatus natalis) or Christmas Island goshawk, is a bird of prey in the goshawk and sparrowhawk family Accipitridae. It is a threatened endemic of Christmas Island, an Australian territory in the eastern Indian Ocean.
