Blue-headed Fantail
Found in the understory of all forest types, the
Rhipidura cyaniceps
is a Philippine endemic (152 - 180 mm total length) that's seldomly photographed in good light. Its amazing colors can only be fully appreciated when the bird comes out into the open, as what it did here in this cold, foggy corner of the Cordillera mountains.
