Description Apure (* ca. 1957; † 9. Oktober 2006 in Duisburg), here with his fellow Orinoko (top, * c. 1973), was a male Boto (Inia geoffrensis), which lived in the Duisburger Zoo. Apure died as eldest known Amazon River Dolphin with more than 40 years (estimated)
