from SW Oklahoma through central and W Texas, E and central Mexico
including the Yucatan peninsula (including Cozumel and Turneffe
Islands) into W Honduras (including Utila, Roatan and Barbareta
Islands) and NW Nicaragua.
Description:
22-26cm, weight, males 73-99g, females 63-90. Male: red from forecrown
to nape of neck. Female: red only on nape of neck.
