마못 Marmota marmota
다람쥐과에 딸린 동물. 몸의 크기는 토끼만하고 온몸이 회색 털로 덮여 있다. 건조한 초원에 몇 마리씩 무리를 지어 살며 여름에는 얕은 굴 속에서 산다. 유럽, 북아메리카 등지에 분포한다.
