This was the original request to which I responded
with two pictures of flying gulls.
And actually, there is no bird species or family
called seagull. It is a generic term used by
non-birders, possibly because just "gull" is too short
and they usually live near the shore.
Ever heard of a land-gull or freshwater-gull?
Your gull is most likely a
Western Gull (Larus occidentalis)
so I am going to rename your picture...
