Vermilion flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus)
Unlike most fellow members of the tyrant flycatcher family, the male vermilion flycatcher is brightly coloured. The bird builds its nest sunk into the fork of a branch so that only the rim is clearly visible. Spiders' webs are used to bind the nest together and attach it to the branch. |
