It flew to my knee when I came back to my office after lunch.
I caught it and tried to let it fly but it was in vain.
Rather it hung on my bag and crawled sometime.
I moved it on a pot for a white and released it in nearby forest after work.
This species was first reported by Kolbe in 1886. His report was based on Karl Gottsche's beetle collection from Korea. The species name is after the collector(Scientific name is Lamiomimus gottschei). |
