第二圖 Thynnus thunina, C. & V. ( = Euthynnus alletteratus (little tunny, false albacore) )
The little tunny or false albacore (Euthynnus alletteratus) is a species of tuna in the family Scombridae. It is a pelagic fish that can be found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean and Black seas; in the western Atlantic, it ranges from Brazil to the New England states. The little tunny is best identified by the “worm-like” markings on its back and the dark spots appearing between its pectoral and ventral fins.

第一圖 Thynnus pelamys, C. & V. ( = Katsuwonus pelamis (skipjack tuna) )
The skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) is a medium-sized fish in the tuna family, Scombridae. It is a cosmopolitan pelagic fish found in tropical and warm-temperate waters. The skipjack tuna is a streamlined, fast-swimming pelagic fish, common in tropical waters throughout the world, where it inhabits surface waters in large shoals (up to 50,000 fish), feeding on fish, crustaceans, cephalopods, and mollusks. It is an important prey species for sharks and large pelagic fishes and is often used as live bait when fishing for marlin. The skipjack tuna has no scales, except on the lateral line and the corselet (a band of large, thick scales forming a circle around the body behind the head). It commonly reaches fork lengths up to 80 cm and a mass of 8–10 kg.

第三國 Auxus rochei, Gthr. ( = Auxis rochei (bullet tuna) )
The bullet tuna (Auxis rochei) is a species of tuna in the family Scombridae. It is a small and slender tuna that can be found in tropical oceans, including the Mediterranean Sea, in open surface waters to depths of 50 m. The bullet tuna is the smallest of all tuna species available in Indian waters. It has a maximum length of 50 centimeters. The fish is blue-black on the back with a pattern of zig-zag dark markings on the upper hind body, and silver below. The fins are dark grey.
Order: Scombriformes > Family: Scombridae > Genus: Auxis > Species: Auxis rochei
第四圖 Pelamys orientalis. ( = Sarda orientalis (striped bonito) )
The striped bonito (Sarda orientalis) is a species of marine perciform fish that can be found in the Indo-Pacific and East Pacific regions. The fish has been recorded at lengths of 102 centimeters, though they are commonly no longer than 55 centimeters. The striped bonito is characterized by its narrow oblique stripes on the back.
