The long-tailed parakeet is an extremely social bird and is usually seen in small groups, but flocks of thousands of birds have been seen in the Andaman Islands and Borneo. The Andaman long-tailed parakeet (Psittacula longicauda tytleri) is found in Andaman and Coco Islands.
