Seconds before that beautiful fur became all mud and dirt :-) Hagenbeck
Hi again,
here is a portrait shot of one of the Hagenbeck Zoo Siberian tiger cubs,
taken at a time when they still looked comparatively clean :-) Somewhat
later they all followed their dad into the pond and, with their fur wet,
had a nice hour of playing and lying down in the dirt which, all of a
sudden, turned them into battered little cats :-) More of them, dirty
and clean, to follow from time to time whenever I have some time to get
the scanner running, and, as always, first place to show them will be here.
So long -
Ralf

Amur Tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) is a rare subspecies of tiger (P. tigris). Also known as the Siberian, Korean, Manchurian, or North China Tiger, it is the largest natural animal in the feline family Felidae. |
