직박구리 / Hypsipetes amaurotis / Brown-eared Bulbul

직박구리(학명 Hypsipetes amaurotis)는 분류학상 참새목(目)에 속하나 몸 길이가 28~29cm로 참새의 두 배가량 된다. 몸색깔은 전체적으로 회갈색을 띠나 머리와 등은 푸른 회색이고 눈 뒤로 밤색 반점이 있다. 옛 사람들은 이 새를 '후루룩 빗죽새'라고 불렀을 정도로 우는 소리가 독특하고 시끄럽게 우는 특징이 있다.
