Korean giant weevil

Giant weevil - Sipalinus gigas (Fabricius,1775) / Rhynchophoridae
This is the largest among weevil species in Korea.
I met this on the road while I was riding a bicycle to home from my family's farm.
It slowly crawled across the road and tried to hide in the bottom of the tree.

왕바구미 - 딱정벌레목(Coleoptera) 왕바구미과(Rhynchophoridae).
대전 천문대 앞을 자전거타고 가다가 우연히 발견.
