The Barred Eagle-owl (Bubo sumatranus) is a species of owl in the Strigidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
