Thomson's Gazelle (Gazella thomsoni) is one of the best-known gazelles. It is named after explorer Joseph Thomson, and is often referred to as the "tommy". It is considered by some to be a subspecies of the Red-fronted Gazelle (Gazella rufifrons). |
