The white marlin, Tetrapturus albidus, is an oceanodromous fish in the marlin family Istiophoridae. It is a large game fish, with a maximum recorded weight of 82.5 kg (182 lb). It ranges across the central Atlantic ocean, where it feeds on fish and squid.
Ocean City, Maryland is considered the White Marlin Capital of the World.
