Heterometrus longimanus, the Black Emperor Scorpion or Asian forest scorpion, is a species of scorpions belonging to the family Scorpionidae. This species is native to southern Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore). It inhabits the humid tropical rainforest. Order: Scorpiones, Family: Scorpionidae, Genus: Heterometrus, Species: Heterometrus longimnus (Herbst, 1800).
