Re: Messages --> Common Grackle - Quiscalus quiscula

The common grackle (Quiscalus quiscula) is a large icterid which is found in large numbers through much of North America. The breeding habitat of Quiscalus quiscula is open and semi-open areas across North America east of the Rocky Mountains.

So -- on to April

These photos start with b02 --

bd02 - bd08 -- blue jay
bd09 -- cardinal
bd10 -- cardinal (female)
bd11 - bd12-- american robin
bd13 -- mourning dove
bd14 -- common grackle
bd15 -- house sparrow (I consider this to be my best photo to date)
bd16 -- starlings (this photo shows two starlings -- one i winter plumage
and one in summer plumage. I guess they change over at different
times.)

More to follow...

By the way -- I assume you are interested only in animal photos. I'm
bypassing all my botanicals -- I assume you have no botanical section.
