Hello,

I get mailordered sets of animal cards, I get 3 sets every month
with various animals in them, animals, fish, birds, insects, things
like that, and every time I open the packages, it does not take me
long to find an animal I do not know of, I look at the picture and the
name and say

"A What?"

So....... I figured it would be neat and sort of fun to scan these
animals and send them to all Y'all! and see how you do!
If this is a stupid idea, oh well, I tried! of course I can only go
by the information on the cards so if I have been misinformed of a
particular animal, let me know K! ;)

Enjoy! if you like I can do the same for insects, fish and birds! :)

Striped Polecat (Ictonyx striatus, also called the African Polecat, Zoril, Zorille or Zorilla) is a member of the Mustelidae family (weasels) which somewhat resembles a skunk. It is the only member of genus Ictonyx. It is found in savannahs and open country in southern and west Africa.

Hi there Russell

My name is Melissa and I work for 30 Degrees South Publishers. We are looking for a picture of a Zorilla to include in one of our books. We noticed that you have posted a picture of one on here. We have been struggling to find a picture of this animal, as they are extremely scarce and the ones that we could find are way too expensive for us to purchase. If you could help us by letting us know which company sent the post card to you, that would be greatly appreciated. We would then, hopefully, be able to track down the photographer.

Please could you assist?

Thanks in anticipation.

Kind regards,
Melissa Schafers
