Caption
This fine specimen of a pot-bellied seahorse seems content to wrap its thick tail around some tall stalks of seagrass. Pot-bellied seahorses are one of the larger species, with adults growing up to 32 cm (12.6 inches). They are native to both southern Australia and New Zealand.
