White-headed Buffalo-weaver is a very strikingly coloured bird. Its white head and underparts contrast vividly with its red rump and under tail coverts. Like the most of the rest of the weavers this is a gregarious bird which forages on the ground for insects. When feeding it is often found in groups with starlings.
