The dorcas gazelle (Gazella dorcas), also known as the ariel gazelle, is a small and common gazelle. The numerous subspecies survive on vegetation in grassland, steppe, wadis, mountain desert and in semidesert climates of Africa and Arabia.
The springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) is a medium-sized antelope found mainly in southern and southwestern Africa.
The blackbuck (Antilope cervicapra), also known as the Indian antelope, is an antelope found in Pakistan, India and Nepal.
The nilgai or blue bull (Boselaphus tragocamelus) is the largest Asian antelope and is endemic to the Indian subcontinent.
The saiga antelope (Saiga tatarica) is an antelope that originally inhabited a vast area of the Eurasian steppe zone from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and Caucasus into Dzungaria and Mongolia. |
