Ein Wildschwein im winterlichen Wald. Öl auf Leinwand. 37 x 29,5 cm. Unten rechts signiert und datiert "Seyfert. / Metz 1804" sowie unten links eigenhändig bez. "Ein solches Haupt=Schwein 6. Schuh lang. 3 sch . 7. zoll rei.. hoch ist in der sogenanten Roberstatt a´rheiliger Forsts den 4te Decemb 1765. lebentig gefangen, und des Hr. Landgrafen zu Darmstadt Hochfürstl. Durchl. mit Schwämern erlegt worden. Hat abgerauscht 530 lb. (altes Pfund-Kürzel) der Kopf allein 85 lb. gewogen."
