Sweet birdies, anyone? Here's a Karakara from Frankfurt Zoo - Crested Caracara
Hi again,
here now is a sweet birdie portrait taken in Frankfurt Zoo, Germany, in
May 2000. The Karakara is a member of the falcon family which got its
name from the sound it makes. I am not sure if the name "Karakara"
applies as well in English, so in case anyone knows better, I'd
appreciate a correction in order to have the right name to go with it
when I add this colorful beauty to my web page.
Later -
Ralf
