The common birdwing (Troides helena) is a butterfly belonging to the family Papilionidae. Globally it is found in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, peninsular and eastern Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Kampuchea, Thailand, Vietnam, southern China including Hainan, and Hong Kong.
Hoterodes ausonia is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Cramer in 1777. It is found from Florida, through Central America (including Costa Rica, Belize and Honduras) to Surinam and Ecuador. It is also found in Cuba and Puerto Rico.
The satin white moth (Palpita flegia) is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Cramer in 1777. It is found in Surinam, Colombia, Brazil, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States, where it has been recorded from Alabama, Florida and Texas.
Belemnia inaurata is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Sulzer in 1776. It is found in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Colombia. |
