i have checked all over and the only record the punta verde has is of the yellow anaconda, the above photo is NOT the dark spotted anaconda, they do greatly resemble each other. but as far as the zoo says. they only have a yellow. Mark O'shea found a dark spotted anaconda in the amazon on his tv show in 1999, he has pics of it. but i cant find the episode, its season 1 episode 11 "Amazon Anaconda" that episode is the only photo/video evidence around. this photo is unfortunantly not. eunectus deshauenseei IS confirmed as its own species by many organizazions. |
