 Size: 48cm
 
 Habitat: Australia wide coastal bird, nest in large colonies on offshore islands, the Crested Tern is often seen diving for fish and resting on beaches.
 
 Notes: Head black on top, body grey with white belly, yellow beak and black legs. Breeds Winter-Spring.
