Dusky-chested Flycatcher in Suriname
Photo made by Pascal Dubois in French Guyane (
Ct Nature
). The
sound
of a Dusky-chested flycatcher
was recorded by Otte Ottema in
the Bakhuis area in May 2006. This dark flycatcher is a rare bird
in Suriname, found in savanna and forests, often high in trees.
Is eats berries and insects.
Each small square indicates the observation of at least one
(group) of these birds, the medium ones at least 4 observations
on different days and the largest ones 10 or more. The color of
each square indicates: blue for coastal area, yellow for savanna
and red for rainforest.
