Description
Abstract: Green sea turtles are the largest hard shelled sea turtle. Sea turtles have a long history, which dates back to about 120 million years to the Permian epoch of the Paleozoic era. Human interference has greatly affected the sea turtle population. Beach erosion, construction along the beach, artificial lighting, and pollution have all contributed to the endangered status of the green sea turtle.
