Size: 15cm
Habitat: Distributed through out Australia, found on beaches, on the edge of river and lakes inland. This Plover feeds on insects and small crustaceans.
Notes: Small bird with white body, brown wings and red cap, dark eye stripe. Breeds Spring-Summer.
