Tawny Grassbird
Size: 18cm
Habitat: Found across the Top End and down the Eastern side of Australia as far as Sydney. This bird inhabits grasslands, reeds and rank grasses in swamps. Feeds on insects.
Notes: Red/brown crown, brown/dark brown wings and tail, white/buff chest and belly. Breeds Spring-Summer.Autumn.
