Wagler's pit viper, temple viper (Tropidolaemus wagleri)

Tropidolaemus wagleri (Boie, 1827), Waglers Lanzenotter Family: Viperidae Subfamily: Crotalinae
The guide called it "ular bulan" (Bahasa Indonesia for Moon snake). It laid about 1.5m above the ground in twigs of a small tree. The head was covered... so I made a mistake and touched it - softly - with my mono-pod. "She did not like it I can tell from from her face".
