| very cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to long ago i was with my dad and my two dogs we sat down in the woods we had no gun nothing but us we seen someing moving in the trees it was a baby deer no mom deer just a baby i said look ababy deer my dad said what ever i said look over there he said thats just a baby deer well at the time i was only 6 i said i am going to to pet the deer my dad said you can not even take one step that deer wil be gone so i went over to pet the deer i did my dogs were barking my dad said oh my god i cant belive you just tuched that baby deer i saw can we take her home my dad said ok only if you take care of the baby deer i said i will we took her home and i named her angel i feed her milk and time moved on angel got older so did i we had to let her go the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| i own deer we did have 7 they were born in captivity we had 4 babies and 3 big ones . we had 5 does one big 8 pointer and a baby buck .it has been a bad year with the deer we lostwe lost 4 deer 2 big ones and 2 little ones all does we found their diseise the ones we have are better.we still have gracie ,pedro ,leroy.i hope deer owners around the world are having better luck.by the way i loved your story. |

| I have a baby doe named Zoey. We live way out in the sticks and I disagree with those who say they can never return to the woods. If you know what you are doing you can rehab them back into the wild. Zoey is still on a bottle but she lives out in the woods all the time. When she wants a bottle she comes up on my back porch, I feed her goats milk and she goes back into the woods until time foe the next bottle. I have seen her out in the fields with other deer and they seem to accept her just fine. She stays away longer and longer periods of time now. I'm sure when the time comes that some buck will find her and she will remain close but she wont need me any more. |
