The mouflon (Ovis orientalis orientalis group) is a subspecies group of the wild sheep (Ovis orientalis). European mouflon (Ovis orientalis musimon) was introduced about 7,000 years ago in Corsica and Sardinia for the first time. It has since been introduced in many parts of Europe. |
