The Indian peafowl or blue peafowl (Pavo cristatus), a large and brightly coloured bird, is a species of peafowl native to South Asia, but introduced in many other parts of the world.

The helmeted guineafowl (Numida meleagris) is the best known of the guineafowl bird family, Numididae. It is native to Africa, mainly south of the Sahara.

The vulturine guineafowl (Acryllium vulturinum) is the largest extant species of guineafowl. It is a resident breeder in northeast Africa, from southern Ethiopia through Kenya and just into northern Tanzania.

The wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) is an upland ground bird native to North America and is the heaviest member of the diverse Galliformes. It is the same species as the domestic turkey, which was originally derived from a southern Mexican subspecies of wild turkey.

The domesticated turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) is a large poultry bird, domestic form of the wild turkey.
