새앙토끼 Ochotona hyperborea
새앙토끼과에 딸린 동물. 토끼와 비슷하나 귀가 쥐와 비슷하여 짧고 둥글며 꼬리가 없다. 털빛은 계절에 따라 달라서 여름에는 적갈색, 겨울에는 회갈색을 띤다.

The northern pika (Ochotona hyperborea) is a species of pika found across mountainous regions of northern Asia, from the Ural Mountains to northern Japan and south through Mongolia, Manchuria and northern Korea. The pika sheds its fur twice annually, bearing a reddish-brown coat in the summer and grayish-brown coat in winter. It feeds on various plant material and makes "hay piles" for winter use.
