Well , I use a nikon coolpix 950
And it has a Macro capability With clear shots from a distance of 2 cm(0,8
inch ?)
The only problem is to get ( or keep ) the subject in focus and get it sharp
Most animals don't like close -ups :o))
Patience,luck and a lot of blurred shots....
I was lucky this spider was very busy with the fly...
BTW : I am very happy with my coolpix 950
