Size: 30-35cm
Habitat: Wide spread through out Australia inhabiting most types of land excluding forest. Often seen hovering in the air in search of rodents and insects.
Notes: Tan coloured bird with fine dark streaks, dark teardrop patch under eye, legs and feet yellow. Breeds Spring.
