The yellow-throated marten (Martes flavigula) is a marten species native to Asia. The yellow-throated marten is also known as the kharza and chuthraul, and is the largest marten in the Old World, with the tail making up more than half its length. Amur yellow-throated marten (Martes flavigula borealis syn. Martes flavigula aterrima) is distinguished from other subspecies by its denser and longer winter fur and somewhat larger general dimensions. Amur yellow-throated martens are found in Amur and Primorsky Krais, former Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula.
