 The leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a small wild cat native to South, Southeast and East Asia. Leopard cats are widely distributed but threatened by habitat loss and hunting in parts of their ranges.
 
 Amur leopard cat, Prionailurus bengalensis euptilurus (Elliott 1871), is distributed in eastern Siberia, Manchuria, Korea and on the Tsushima Island.
