Animal pictures from my California trip - Little Big Bird in San Diego Zoo - Baby King vulture???
Hi,
this one, I confess, required somewhat more digital image correction
than I usually like to do. This cutie was a bit far away, so I had to
use the full 300 mm focal length of my camera lens. Moreover, the light
was not as bright as the pic suggests; as far as I remember, the
exposition time was about 1/60 of a second. As a result there was a bit
of motion blur on the bird's shape which I filtered out after scanning.
Hope you enjoy the shot anyway just as I enjoy the many gorgeous shot
posted by the other contributors to this group.
