This is a Major Mitchell Cockatoo. I might not get the number of "l"
in Mitchell right but I am sure about the bird.
It's an Australian native cockatoo and I have handled a few over
the years as a vet here in Australia.

My boyfriend and I are very interested in a bird as a pet. We are in the over
well over 30 group and have started researching. We know what we want in
charactertistics but are having problems finding info on the different breds
that contain a piture with the info. Can you help us finding web
locations?
