Snowy Owl
Broad wings, Wide-set eyes, Large claws
IN THE FAR NORTH, summer daylight lasts around the clock and there are few places to hide. In this open, snow-covered landscape, the snowy owl uses its camouflaged plumage to avoid being seen. It normaly hunts during the day, catching its prey either in flight or while on the ground.
