This is the front shot of a splendid marine betta (Calloplesiops altivelis). The fish was found at an underwater cave in the south shore of Long-Dong Bay, a famous diving site located at northeast coast of TAIWAN. The photo was taken by Vincent C. Chen on June 6, 2015

The comet or marine betta (Calloplesiops altivelis) is a species of reef-associated tropical marine fish in the longfin family Plesiopidae. It is native to the Indo-Pacific Ocean.
