논에서 미꾸라지나 우렁이 따위를 잡아먹는 재두루미.
두루미도 청둥오리나 고니처럼 머리를 완전히 물에 처박고 먹이활동을 하는데
부리와 머리에 묻은 흙은 이처럼 물에 흔들어 닦는다.
