MIGRATION
MOST SEAGOING turtles are powerful swimmers. They usually feed thousands of miles away from where they hatched, but return to nest and breed. To to this, they have to migrate far across the open ocean. Scientists have tracked many turtles during their long journeys, but still nobody knows how they manage to navigate.
GREEN TURTLE
This turtle is found in tropical waters worldwide. A streamlined shell helps it to swim easily. (Flattened shell, Flipperlike feet)
