The Vogelkop lophorina is not a great flyer but despite its small legs, it can run very quickly. They are rather solitary birds, typically only in groups of more than 2 when there is a prime courtship area. This bird does not have any predators other than humans. Humans poach them for their plumage along with other birds-of-paradise. |
